Responsibilities
- Quoting, scheduling, and coordinating shipments through our cutting-edge TMS system.
- Updating client status reports on a load-by-load basis by monitoring email, fax, and voicemail.
- Vetting and setting up new carrier vendors.
- Cultivating relationships with clients, carriers, and the company team.
- Collaborating with sales department on client shipping updates and issues.
- Facilitating any returns, discrepancies, over/short, and damages.
- Managing and processing customer and market data.
- Safeguarding carriers' designated appointment times.
- Crafting solutions for your customers from reporting and data.
Requirements
- You have been in the Transportation, 3PL or Freight Brokering/Forwarding industry for 1-3 years and have extensive knowledge of LTL, TL Carrier, and/or INTL guidelines and lanes.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience.
Qualifications
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- You can multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You possess strong negotiation, motivation, and influencing abilities.
- You have a competitive mindset, with a drive to win and grow.
Skills
- You are tech-savvy, comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite, and able to work from your phone, TMS, and email.
