Job Profile Summary
Responsible for employee transportation services, including chauffeur and fleet services, as well as messenger services within an organization. Activities include: • Driving of company executives and/or groups of employees in company-owned vehicles/shuttles. • Basic maintenance and cleaning of company-owned vehicles/shuttles. • Oversight of company fleet services, including cost evaluation and scheduling. • Company-owned aircraft flight operations.
Description
Job Summary: Responsible for backing trucks to the dock at the appropriate doors while ensuring that the truck is functioning properly to perform the route, and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects
- Make applicable truck moves by backing trucks up to the correct door
- Ensure truck temperatures are set appropriately and operating properly to perform the route.
- Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- Minimum Required:
- High School or GED or equivalent
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A preferred
- Experience
- Minimum Required:
- One year experience preferred
- Ability to drop and hook trailers

- Ability to lift product up to 50 lbs., infrequent lifting to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to climb on and off the box of the truck

- Be 21 years or older
- No drug or alcohol violations within the past 3 years
- No open violations listed in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
Most important decisions made fully independently: - Backing the truck up to the correct door. - Whether a truck is operating well enough to perform the route.
