Truck Driver Union

Schwing Electrical Supply Corp. · Farmingdale, NY · 3 wk ago
On-siteSupply Chain$20–$24/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes description: "Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors..." That's about the company. Could be "About the role" or maybe "About the company". The instruction: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use only when posting has real specific content. We have responsibilities (What You'll Do). We have qualifications (What You'll Need). We have Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (could be Skills). We treat as Skills). We have Additional Information (Physical Demands etc) maybe not needed as separate heading; but we could include under Requirements? The instruction: include a section only when posting has real specific content. We have Pay: "For the state of New York only, the pay range is $20.00 to $24.00". So we can include Pay section. Benefits: "Our Benefits Include: ..." So Benefits section. Schedule: not mentioned. So omit Schedule. Also we might include About the role: maybe a short paragraph summarizing role. The posting includes "Job Description We are looking for a Truck Driver Union to join our Schwing Electrical Supply team in Farmingdale, NY! Summary: The Union Truck Driver is responsible for delivering products..." That's about the role. So we can put About the role section with that summary. We must not repeat job title as heading. So no heading for Truck Driver Union. We must not include Job ID etc. We must remove boilerplate: EEO statements, etc. Remove duplicated lines. Also remove "Additional Information" maybe not needed as heading; but we could incorporate physical demands under Requirements? But we have Qualifications section already. The physical demands could be part of Requirements? However instruction: Use headings from list; we can include Requirements if we have content. The posting includes Qualifications (What You'll Need) and Knowledge, Skills & Abilities. Could combine Qualifications and Skills? But better to have separate sections: Qualifications (What You'll Need) and Skills (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities). Also Responsibilities (What You'll Do). Benefits, Pay. We need to preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all bullet points from responsibilities, qualifications, skills, benefits, pay. We must use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

    for prose. Thus:

    About the role

Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors of electrical products, data communication, and related supplies in the United States. Rexel USA operates its electrical distribution business in the United States through eight Regions that go to market under various banner and trade names, including Rexel, Rexel Automation, Gexpro, Mayer, and Platt Electric Supply. In addition to an online store, Rexel USA has a distribution network of over 460 warehouse storefront locations throughout the U.S. We are looking for a Truck Driver Union to join our Schwing Electrical Supply team in Farmingdale, NY! Summary: The Union Truck Driver is responsible for delivering products to/from customers, company branch/warehouse locations, and company suppliers in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required). Responsible for ensuring that deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner, and materials are correct and free of damage.

Then Responsibilities: list items from "What You'll Do:" bullet points. We need to capture each duty: - Inspect company vehicle for visual and operating defects. - Responsible for completing a daily inspection report - Keep company vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained. - Alert supervisor of repair and/or service needed - Must follow Department of Transportation (DOT), local and state driving laws and regulations - Load or unload vehicle; and ensure all material for each order is correct (quantity and type of material), and that material is free of damage before departure - May assist in preparing orders for delivery - Ensure all appropriate documentation is thoroughly completed at the time of delivery, including delivery receipt is signed by the customer, packing list and branch/warehouse manifest - May be required to pick up material returns from customers. Responsible for inspecting the condition of the material and verifying quantities and catalog numbers - May be required to pick up material from company suppliers - Other duties as assigned Also there is a "Job Duties Disclaimer" paragraph which is boilerplate; we should remove it (it's disclaimer). So exclude. Now Qualifications: "What You'll Need" list: - In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training - Must have a valid Driver’s License - Must be at least 21 years of age - Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record - Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire - Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years - Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years Then Knowledge, Skills & Abilities list: - Ability to handle loads with a combine weight not to exceed 26,000 GVW - Ability to handle basic issues and problems - Strong knowledge of safety regulations, and be familiar with traffic and driver laws - Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws - Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to meet deadlines - Excellent customer service skills - Good attention to detail - Ability to meet deadlines (duplicate) - Ability to work overtime as needed We can keep duplicates? Might be okay but we could deduplicate but instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. Duplicate is substantive? It's repeated; we could keep both but maybe better to keep as is. We'll keep both. Now Benefits: list from "Our Benefits Include:": - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Life Insurance - Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance - 401K with Employer Match - Paid vacation and sick time - Paid company holidays plus flexible personal days per year - Tuition Reimbursement - Health & Wellness Programs - Flexible Spending Accounts - HSA Accounts - Commuter Transit Benefits - Additional Optional Insurance such as Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Critical Illness, Home and Auto Insurance to name a few. - Employee Discount Programs - Professional Training & Development Programs - Career Advancement Opportunities – We like to promote from within We could also include the sentence about goal to create workplace etc but that's maybe boilerplate; but it's substantive? It's about diversity; could be considered EEO boilerplate; but it's not explicitly EEO statement; still maybe we can keep as prose under Benefits? But instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. The diversity statement might be considered EEO boilerplate; safer to omit. Now Pay: "For the state of New York only, the pay range is $20.00 to $24.00, depending upon qualifications, experience and other considerations permitted by law." We'll put that in a

under Pay section. We must not include Schedule section. Now ensure we use

for each section heading. We'll output only HTML fragment. Let's craft. Check for any leftover boilerplate: The "Additional Information Physical Demands:" etc is not under any heading we used; we omitted it. That's okay because we are not required to include all details if we don't have a heading for them? The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. If we omit the Physical Demands section, we are losing substantive information. We need to include that info somewhere. Could we include it under Requirements or Qualifications? The instruction says we can use headings from the list, but we can also use other headings? It says use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but suggests those as examples. However to be safe, we could incorporate Physical Demands under Requirements or Qualifications as a list. But the list is quite detailed; we could create a subsection under Requirements? But we already have Qualifications and Skills sections. Perhaps we can add a Requirements section that includes Physical Demands. However the posting already has Qualifications (What You'll Need) and Knowledge, Skills & Abilities. The Physical Demands could be considered part of Requirements. Since we have not used Requirements heading yet, we could create a Requirements section and put the Physical Demands there. But we also have Qualifications and Skills; we need to decide not to duplicate. We could treat Qualifications as the "What You'll Need" (license, age, etc). Skills as Knowledge, Skills & Abilities. Then Requirements could be Physical Demands. That would preserve all info. Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (Physical Demands), Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay. Check if any other info like "Other duties as assigned" already in Responsibilities. Now we need to ensure we don't create headings with filler text. All sections have real content. Now format. We'll produce:
