Truck Driver- Philadelphia, MS
Responsibilities
Driving & Operation: Safely operate dump trucks, including end dumps or belly dumps, on public roads and job sites.
Material Transport: Haul materials such as dirt, rock, sand, gravel, and asphalt to specific locations.
Loading/Unloading: Ensure materials are loaded properly and use cabin controls to accurately dump materials.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking oil, gas, water levels, tires, and lights.
Documentation: Keep accurate, up-to-date daily logs, trip sheets, and maintenance records.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
Communication: Interact with dispatchers, site foremen, and team members to coordinate schedules and report issues.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must complete a pre-employment drug screen with a Negative result.
- Must complete a post-offer physical with a Capable result.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
- 2 Years of Experience preferred.
- Licenses: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
- Driving Record: Clean driving record required to meet insurance standards.
