About the role

Ryder is hiring a Class C Truck Driver in Fayetteville, NC. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive a vehicle within and comply with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Pass a Ryder road test.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Able to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Able to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must have verifiable driving experience:
    • 6 Months experience in the past 3 years,
    • OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years,
    • OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years.

Skills

  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

Benefits

Pay

$1025 - $1219 or more per week - And it gets better

Driver Positions Pay Weekly
Hourly Pay: $26.30 + $4.98/hr
Stipend Hours Per Week: Approx 39 hours per week

Schedule

Monday - Saturday

Start Time: 2:30 P.M.
