Responsibilities

• Safely drive a vehicle within and comply with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Able to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years.

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Pay

• Hourly Pay: $23.00 Per Hour.
• Hours Per Week: 45 or more hours per week.
• Safety Bonus: Pays You $250 Every 6 months.
• Sign On Bonus: Pays you $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday.
• Start Time: Between 4:00 am - 6:00 am.
