Ryder is hiring a NON-CDL Truck Driver in Charlton, MA. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a vehicle within and comply with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Able to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• NO WEEKENDS
• Start Time: 6:00 AM- 7:00 AM

• Holding a CDL this position does not require the operation of CDL-regulated equipment. However, candidates who possess a valid Commercial Drivers License will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including but not limited to, pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.
