Truck Driver - Full-Time

About the role

This position involves safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor trailer to customers, ensuring proper delivery, unloading, and adherence to safety and food handling protocols.

Responsibilities

• Unload products manually or with equipment, placing items in designated storage areas according to customer specifications.
• Complete all paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, invoices, and reports, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Maintain food safety standards, inspect products for damages, and uphold sanitary conditions in vehicles and work areas.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; tractor trailer driving experience preferred or completion of a driving school. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability to operate a commercial vehicle. Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting/delivery practices. Proficiency in driving long distances, problem‑solving, and customer communication. Ability to operate various vehicles and equipment, perform basic math, and work independently.

The role requires physical effort such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing in/out of vehicles, and handling products in various weather conditions. The work environment includes exposure to outdoor elements, mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels, with occasional work in confined or hazardous spaces.
