About the Role

Lynden Door Trucking, LLC is a growing, family-owned transportation and logistics company seeking full-time CDL OTR drivers based in Sumner (Greater Tacoma), WA. We haul doors from Sumner south to Oregon and California, west to the Midwest, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, Ohio, and beyond, returning with all types of freight in 53ft dry vans. Our OTR loads are 99% no-touch.

Tractors and trailers are based out of Alliance Door Products, Sumner, part of the Lynden Door Family of Companies. Equipment includes newer Peterbilt, Freightliner, and Mack tractors. Drivers appreciate supervisors who provide immediate support for road issues and work with them on scheduling needs.

OTR lanes run to MN, WI, and beyond, then return from OH, MO, to be delivered in the Pacific Northwest. These lanes require drivers to be gone 11-15 days (including a 34-hour reset) and home 2-3 days every other week. Longer road time is available for drivers who prefer extended trips.

Pay

Competitive hourly wages ranging from $74,000 to $94,000 annually, based on 50-55 hours per week. Experienced drivers start at up to 15% higher base wages. Drivers are paid while loading, unloading, and in traffic. Overtime is paid for all hours worked over 40 in a week.

• Quarterly Performance Bonus: Up to $400 (eligible after the first full quarter following a 90-day probation period).
• Gold Star Bonus: Annual $400 bonus (eligible after one full year of employment).

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a good driving record.
• Physically fit to chain up, tailgate some product, and assist in sorting doors (rarely needed).
• OTR and mountain driving experience is a plus.
• Must pass a DOT drug and alcohol test as required by law.
• Good customer service skills and ability to represent the company professionally.
