Truck Driver – CDL Class A

Truck Driver position with a good balance of local, one overnight, and regional opportunities transporting live poultry. The role combines driving and hands-on physical labor in an agriculture-focused, family-oriented environment. Drivers are responsible for keeping birds alive during transport while adhering to strict bio-security protocols, using modern trailers with cutting-edge monitoring technology.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive a Class A vehicle
• Maneuver a Class A truck in tight loading and unloading locations, including backing up
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Document necessary truck repairs
• Maintain working knowledge of Hours of Service and FMCSA regulations for commercial drivers
• Record hours of service on an ELD (or willingness to learn)
• Collaborate with team members and assist where needed to ensure daily job completion
• Support the job foreman and assist with tasks as required
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading the truck

Requirements

• Class A license with air brake endorsement (required)
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Ability to drive outside the United States (passport or passport card preferred)
• 1 to 2 years’ experience (preferred)
• Background in Agriculture (preferred)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to use or be trained on smart technology (smartphone and iPads)
• Capability to perform physical loading and unloading responsibilities
