Truck Driver - CDL Class A

Primary Responsibilities

• Make round-robin pickups and deliveries in a timely, efficient, and effective manner to meet contractual quality standards.
• Pick up all released shipments from the local PLCB facility.
• Develop and maintain efficient primary and secondary routing systems.
• Establish organized and efficient loading and unloading procedures.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed when handling trucks and shipments during pickup, transport, and delivery.
• Perform vehicle pre- and post-operation safety checks (e.g., lights, trailer door locks, wheel chocking).
• Obey traffic laws, including speed limits, stop signs, signaling, and maintaining safe operating distances.
• Report unsafe vehicle, equipment, or working conditions to the assigned supervisor.
• Maintain a clean vehicle at all times.
• Perform other duties in the warehouse as assigned.

Requirements, Perks, and Benefits (US -- Non-Exempt)

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards.
• Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier (FMC) regulations.
• Must successfully pass a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) background investigation, if required.
• Physical & Cognitive Requirements (With or Without Accommodation): Ability to follow policies and procedures, read, write, and interpret information, add, subtract, multiply, and divide, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, sit, walk, or stand for the duration of the shift, must possess visual acuity to perform essential job functions, ability to conduct physical tasks with a full range of motion throughout the warehouse environment, ability to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds.
