Ryder is hiring a Team Class A CDL Truck Driver in Mesquite, NV — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
Pay
- Team Miles Pay: $0.43 per mile with 1990+ miles per week for each driver
- Team Stops Pay: $24.00 per stop with 17 stops per week total
- $25.00 hourly for any non-driving functions
- Ryder employees on this account earn $2387 or more per week — top earners make $2800 or more per week
- Paid weekly
Schedule
- Monday – Friday or Sunday - Thursday
- Home 2 days for reset
- Start time: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm dispatch window
- Up to 60 or more hours per week

About the Role
- Deliver as a team to the Southwest (CA, NV, AZ, NM) and Mountain West (UT, CO, WY, ID, MT)
- Regional route
- Tractor type: sleeper with refrigerators and inverters
- Trailer type: dry van and doubles (28’, 48’, 53’)
- Equipment: pallet jack, forklift, and hand truck — Ryder provides training on all equipment
- Freight: touch — retail hardware supplies
- Endorsements: Hazmat and Doubles — must obtain within 30 days of hire
- Operate well-maintained, safe trucks (36 months or newer) with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide locations
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
- Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, or
- 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, or
- 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
- Some positions may require additional screening, including employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, and customer-specific badging or background requirements
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
