About the role

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Worcester, MA, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Drivers operate solo regional routes across New England and the East Coast, handling day cabs, sleepers, and possibly 26' straight trucks with 48'–53' flatbeds, dry vans, reefers, conestogas, curtainsides, and containers. Equipment includes pallet jack, lift gate, rollers, or Moffett, and Ryder provides training on all needed equipment. Freight includes touch and no‑touch loads, and drivers must be willing to obtain any required endorsements. Ryder maintains well‑maintained, safe trucks (36 months or newer) with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide locations.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
