Truck Driver CDL A No Weekends Flex

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. The position involves regional solo deliveries (0‑5 days out) on Long Island, PA, MD, NYC and 5 Burroughs routes, operating a day‑cab tractor with a 45'‑60' flatbed trailer hauling steel and metal freight requiring load securement only. Drivers work with well‑maintained trucks (36 months or newer) and have access to over 800 nationwide maintenance locations for 24/7 roadside service and fueling.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading when required by the customer.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
