About the Role

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Front Royal, VA, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Pay

$1505 or more per week. Sign-on bonus: $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days.

Schedule

Sunday – Friday, NO WEEKENDS. Start time: AM or PM (consistent schedule, not both).

Route and Equipment

• Deliver SOLO to: VA, PA, MD, OH, CT, NY, ME, DE, NC, NJ
• Route: Regional
• Tractor Type: Sleepers (can accommodate auto restriction)
• Trailer Type: Dry Van, Reefer, 53'
• Freight: No Touch - Food
• Endorsements: Hazmat - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detecting and minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting as required by the customer
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder Drug Test, Background, and Motor Vehicle Check
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience:
  • 9 months within the past 3 years
  • 2 years within the last 5 years
  • 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and policies
