Truck Driver CDL A No Experience Needed

About the role

We are seeking a Class A Driver for our Driver Development Program in Owensboro, KY. This program is designed for individuals with zero experience. For more information, please contact Aisha or text "Owensboro DDP" to 904-618-3558.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 9 months or less of CDL driving experience
• A minimum age of 21 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Have a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
• Be able to: Follow written and/or oral instructions, Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Qualifications

Some positions may require additional screening such as employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Stops Pay: $11.00 per Stop
Drop and Hook Pay: $6.00 per Drop/Hook
