Truck Driver CDL A No Experience Needed

Recent CDL-A graduates can launch their career in Princeton, IN through Ryder’s 8-week Driver Development Program. Training is proficiency-based, led by experienced facilitators, and covers all backing maneuvers, close-quarter handling, short and long runs—all while you earn pay.

Pay

• Weekly guarantee: $1,050
• Solo miles: $0.55 per mile with 2,500 miles per week
• Stops: $13.00 per stop
• Drop & hook: $6.00 per drop/hook

Schedule

• Must be flexible with both AM and PM shifts
• Local, home-daily route

Route & Equipment

• Deliver solo to OH, TN, IN, MO, KY
• Day-cab tractor, 53’ dry-van trailer
• No-touch auto-parts freight
• Company-paid scale bypass
• Trucks are 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance and nationwide fueling at over 800 locations

Requirements

• 9 months or less of CDL driving experience
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and motor-vehicle-registration check (including 3-year drug/alcohol verification from previous employers)
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Valid Class-A CDL with required endorsements
• Ability to follow written/oral instructions, read/interpret laws, regulations, policies, and procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for checking in and out of freight
• Perform other assigned duties
