About the role
The Truck Driver performs as required by job order and supervisor’s direction, all driving and related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operates all motorized vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follows proper departmental procedures for start-up, use and storage of all equipment operations, including power sweeping, plowing, snow blowing, tractor and loader operations.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Must maintain home telephone contact and be available for snow removal on a 7 days/week, 24-hours/day basis.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or the equivalent required.
- Ability to read and follow written directions and road maps required.
- Must be familiar with tractor operation procedures.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be physically fit to work outdoors in all weather, and be able to perform manual labor, lifting and climbing assignments.
Regular position; 40 hours per week. Standard schedule: Sunday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm and Monday – Thursday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm.
