About the role
Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) to haul freight OTR in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight, when necessary
- Ensure proper documentation of freight
- Ensure Department of Transportation and safety guidelines are met
- Follow specific cargo-related procedures, when necessary
- Regularly inspect tractor/trailer brakes, tires, and other mechanical functions to ensure safe operating conditions
Qualifications
- Class A CDL from any US state, or a foreign commercial DL with the ability to obtain US Class A CDL within 60 days of employment
- 12 months of experience required
