Truck Driver

About the Position

The CDL Driver position in our Fairbanks, Alaska location serves as an interface with our valuable customers. The primary responsibilities of this role require friendly, helpful and expeditious customer service to our VIP customers. As a driver of a box style straight truck, you will be responsible for all aspects of loading, securing and delivering freight onto the vehicle; delivering freight safely and in a timely manner, vehicle inspections for load and road safety according to company policy; maintaining company vehicle log and facilitating required maintenance; following all company safety policies along with OSHA and AKOSH regulations; and following relevant AKDOT regulations and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience Needed

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL B), with 2-years of CDL driving experience.
• Ability to drive a Standard transmission is required.
• Be able to manually lift up to 50 pounds and have forklift experience.
• This physically demanding job requires standing, climbing on and off a truck, walking and picking parts for an 8-hour day.
• The ability to handle working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment is essential to be successful.

Salary Range

Salary range starts at $32.35 per hour. Hourly offered based on skills and experience.

Pay

Hours are flexible but typically an 8-hour shift.
