Truck Driver
Responsibilities
- Transport product from ACP warehouse to Ameristar warehouse.
- Transport product from Ameristar manufacturing plant to Ameristar warehouse.
- Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
- Unload with an overhead crane.
- Operate powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load and unload orders.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Present bills and receipts for goods delivered.
- Turn in receipts received from deliveries.
- Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
- Flexible to perform other assigned tasks if deliveries are delayed or cancelled.
Requirements
- Education: Certified Class A CDL Driver
- High School Diploma
- Minimum two years of CDL licensed driving experience preferred

- Clean driving record
Skills
- Ability to routinely lift, bend, stoop
- Excellent communication skills
