Truck Driver - 1st Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Truck Driver at our Troy, IL facility.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Overtime may be required and can exceed core hours.

Pay

• Starting hourly rate: $24.87/hr plus a $0.50 shift differential.
• Wage progression to $26.21/hr after 10 months.

Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport materials to and from suppliers, vendors, and local customers.
• Pick up steel coils and complete local deliveries in the Troy and Highland areas.
• Perform additional pickup or delivery tasks as assigned.
• Operate Truck Unit 20 and use trailers, tarps, and straps to secure loads.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Current CDL – Class A.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
• Must comply with DOT-regulated random drug testing requirements.

Qualifications

• No relocation benefit is offered; only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered (Active-Duty Military Service members exempt).
