About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Duties include diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of diesel engines and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and operational.
- Follow industry standards and regulations for safety and environmental compliance.
- Communicate effectively with clients and other team members to resolve issues and provide recommendations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of diesel engine technology and repair procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
