Truck Chaser

About the role

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Truck Chaser based out of our Farmingdale, NJ on night shift to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our asphalt paving projects by coordinating the movement of trucks, equipment, and materials at job sites in our East Region. This role is responsible for having excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
• Monitor the location and performance of outside vendors using GPS App and Scale System
• Communicate Job Location and Routes to and from Job site and Plant
• Communicate and Enforce Safety Rules and Regulations
• Report on job site to supervisor and breakdowns or accidents
• Track Driver check in and check out times
• Nightly report sent to Manager of previous night’s events
• Maintain strong communications with other employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• No experience required; we will supply approx. 4 weeks on job training
• Preferred: Bilingual candidates, but not required
• Must be willing to work nights and long hours
• Must have driver’s license in good standing with NJSP and NJ DMV
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, and walk
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)

Qualifications

• Must have a valid NJ Driver’s License
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug test

Pay

Salary Range: $18.87 - $25.33
