Truck and Trailer Technician

1st shift or 2nd shift: Monday - Friday shift available! $25-$32/hr (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on truck trailers
• Repairs including brakes, air system, lighting, landing gears, and doors
• Major body work including panel replacement and bottom/top rail repairs
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions
• Read and write reports
• Work independently and safely

Requirements

• Truck & Trailer repair experience required
• Diesel experience helpful
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (e.g., DUI/DWI)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) a plus
• Must be able to obtain DOT medcard

Physical and Safety Requirements

• Move frequently, stand, walk, and sit
• Frequently use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance
