Trimble Operator (Cincinnati, OH)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple projects, in various stages of design, to successfully complete.
• Coordinate layout efforts with field team.
• Conduct site‑visits.
• Communicate frequently with project team members including architects, engineers, and project managers.
• Prepare files for the Trimble RTS for layout.
• Meet with project and GC team onsite to evaluate conditions of control points and any other needs for layout.
• Collaborate with BIM to ensure files are accurate for layout.
• Serve as liaison between BIM team and project team regarding as‑builts or existing conditions.
• Update point files with all field conditions or changes.
• Provide efficient and accurate layout to the field utilizing Trimble RTS.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Expertise with Trimble, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on mechanical/plumbing design experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Trimble is essential.

Education

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. An associate degree, technical degree in drafting, or design technology is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk job sites.
• Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to walk; climb or balance.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Special Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 10 certified.
