Tribal Suicide Network Project Director (TSN PD)

About the role

This is temporary, part-time service maintenance consisting of entry level work in the leadership of recreational activities at City Recreation Centers and the supervision of Recreational Centers during rentals by outside agencies.

Responsibilities

• Aids the Recreation Aide II in the operation of City Recreational Centers.
• Serves as the City’s representative during rentals of City facilities by outside agencies.
• Assists in managing equipment and materials at City Recreational Centers.
• Reports any damaged or unsafe equipment/facilities to the Recreation Supervisor.
• Provides minor first aid in case of injury and reports incidents to supervisors.
• May assist the Maintenance Staff in facility setup and breakdown for rentals.
• Oversees the care of children/adults in assigned recreation programs.

Requirements

• High School diploma and at least one year prior experience working with children in a recreational setting, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidates must be First Aid/CPR/AED certified or obtain certification within two weeks of employment.
• Applicants should possess a valid Florida Drivers License and have a good driving record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Prior experience working with children in a recreational setting, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to pass Children and Family Services background check when requested.

Special Requirements

• Valid Florida Drivers License, and good driving record.
• CPR or First Aid Certification may be required.
