• Provide administrative support with Juvenile Unit caseload
• Juvenile case intake – create new files as new cases come in
• Reception – assist in-person visitors; answer phone calls
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Provide support to and work directly with Assistant District Attorney, Investigator and Victim Advocate
• File petitions, motions, orders and other documents
• Prepare orders
• Maintain and update physical files and information within internal case tracking system
• Assist Assistant District Attorney in preparing for upcoming court calendars
• Prepare and send discovery, as needed
• Close files after case resolution

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or its recognized equivalent
• All candidates are subject to a background check
• Applicants selected for hire will be subject to fingerprinting, a criminal history background check, a motor vehicle driver's history check and pre-employment drug screening; employment is contingent upon the completion and satisfactory results of each investigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess and maintain valid Notary Public certification
