Trial Attorney - Commercial Litigation

We are a prominent business law firm based in Florida, known for its exceptional legal services and client-focused approach. With approximately 100 attorneys, the firm operates out of several offices throughout the state. We serve a diverse client base with a Florida focus and an international scope, frequently handling matters in Europe, Asia, and South America.

A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney with a strong track record in complex litigation and an established book of business to join its growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of complex litigation matters from pre-suit through trial and appeal
• Serve as first-chair or second-chair trial counsel in state and federal courts
• Handle a diverse caseload, including:
  • Real estate litigation
  • Business torts and partnership disputes
  • Officer and director liability claims
  • Complex commercial litigation
  • Bankruptcy and insolvency-related litigation
  • Insurance coverage and defense matters
• Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with client objectives
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships while contributing to firm business development efforts

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar
• 8+ years of litigation experience with significant trial exposure
• Demonstrated experience in the specified practice areas
• Portable book of business required (target range typically $500K+)
• Proven ability to independently manage cases and client relationships
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a practice

Pay

Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year
