Pay Range Min: $62,836.80 Mid: $75,400.00 Max: $87,963.20 General Duties And Responsibilities Reviews patient’s history and documents to make an accurate assessment.Completes nursing assessment, identifying, and documenting patient problems.Assesses nursing home patient historyCheck insurance with scheduling/patient accounts to where procedure can be doneCheck medications and follow-ups per protocolReview and obtain Advance DirectivesObtain copies of medical device cardsAssigns a triage priority to patients concerns based on available information Initiates diagnostic and therapeutic measures as indicated by standing protocolsActs as a liaison with patients, family and health professionals Coordinates the needs of the patient with supporting departmentsCharts concisely, descriptively to indicate patients progress or lack of progressManages prescription refills per protocolFollow direction on Recall systemCalls for or looks up test results, notifies patients of results in timely mannerSets up lab appointmentsProvides appropriate patient education as necessaryFollows protocols for disease processFollows up on resources for patient and disease processes. Requirements Qualifications: Graduate of accredited school of nursingCurrent state license to practice as a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse.Experience in GI endoscopy preferred.Member in GI specialty or other local, state or national professional societies encouraged.Organizational skills and attention to detail highly recommendedGood listening skillsMust have good attendanceMaintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification Essential Physical Demands Position requires full range of motion, frequent, standing, walking and sitting for extended periods of timeRequires visual and hearing activity Working Conditions Exposure to bloodborne pathogens requiring the use of universal precautions and/ or protective equipment.
