Responsibilities
- Communicates significant findings, problems, changes in condition or environment to the primary care providers and other personnel involved with patient care
- Performs well under stress and in emergency situations
- Assumes primary responsibility for "after hours" including planning, coordinating, implementing, and assisting with the evaluation of the plan of care for patients, families and facilities
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others. Helps others when needed without necessarily being asked to do so
- Maintains confidentiality of patient and employee information. Shares information only in accordance with policy
- Answer telephone calls after hours and responds to any concern or change in patient condition
- Provides support and direction to agency staff, health care professionals, patients, and families related to health care concerns
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in medical field, medical office experience or related position
- Ability to operate computer equipment, Fax and photocopy machines necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- CNA or MA certification preferred
- Experience with geriatric population and/or caregivers preferred
- Familiarity with Ethizo EMR preferred

Schedule
Overview
Four shifts per week with an every-other weekend rotation
The schedule follows this pattern:
Week 1: Work three weekdays + the weekend
Week 2: Work three weekdays (no weekend)
This rotation repeats
Daily Schedule
In the office: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Meal break: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Work remotely from home: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
This schedule provides a combination of in-office collaboration during the day and remote work in the evening, along with every other weekend coverage.

$18—$22 USD
