Responsibilities
- Process meat products by performing essential production tasks and supporting coworkers.
- Ensure safety, quality, and teamwork standards are met daily.
- Maintain yield by executing job tasks with minimal waste.
- Read and calculate tree counts per product schedule.
- Inspect and qualify product according to specifications.
- Operate Lowerator safely and efficiently.
- Lift and move up to 40 pounds continuously.
- Exert maximum muscle force to push up to 2000 pounds.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Perform tasks requiring continuous/repetitive movement.
- Work in various environments including cold, warm, wet, and noisy conditions.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Handle sanitation/cleaning chemicals and strong smells/odors.
- Perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old. Must be willing and able to maintain a safe and efficient production line, work overtime when needed, and comply with all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Classroom and on-the-job training for tree pushing. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Skills
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
