Tree Handler / Forestry Mower Operator with Class A CDL

About The Job

We are seeking a Sennebogen / Horizontal Grinder / Forestry Mower Operator with a Class A CDL to join our team. The role involves driving and operating various heavy equipment including a semi-truck to transport Sennebogen, Horizontal Grinder, and Fecon Track Machine (with attachments specifically brush mower), log trucks (with grapple), and skid steers.

Responsibilities

• Transport and operate a diverse range of equipment for tree and brush clearing, cutting, grinding, stump grinding, and mulching.
• Evaluate surroundings and weather conditions to ensure personal and equipment safety during operation.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and available at the job site.
• Maintain equipment in proper operating condition through simple preventative maintenance and repair tasks such as adjusting, replacing minor parts, washing, and lubricating equipment.
• Keep accurate written records of inspections and maintenance.
• Operate equipment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Remove trees and brush safely using the listed equipment.
