Tree Crew Member/ Groundsmen

About the Role

LandGraphics is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused Tree Care Groundsman to join our Tree Care team. This position supports tree pruning, removals, and general tree care operations while working alongside experienced crew members. Responsibilities

• Assist with tree pruning, removals, trimming, and other tree care services.
• Operate chainsaws, wood chippers, stump grinders, blowers, and other equipment safely.
• Drag, chip, and dispose of tree debris and brush.
• Assist climbers with ropes, rigging, and lowering operations.
• Set up and maintain safe work zones using cones, signs, and barricades.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Follow all company safety policies and Cal/OSHA regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing LandGraphics.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in tree care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor preferred, but not required.
• Experience operating chainsaws or similar power equipment is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety.
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven terrain throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to safely work around heavy equipment, power tools, and tree care operations.

Pay
