About the role

Join Joshua Tree Experts, the premier tree care, lawn care, and pest control professionals in Piscataway, NJ, as a Tree Climber. You will work alongside a 2 to 4-person tree crew, assisting in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques. This role is critical for ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining equipment, and communicating effectively with the crew.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with crew leader and coworkers
• Maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment
• Follow company safety culture and adhere to ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations
• Understand and perform aerial lift operations
• Work at least 40 hours per week

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 4 years of experience in tree climbing, rigging, and removals
• Valid driver’s license
