About the role
The General Tree Care Team at SavATree are the backbone of our operations. Our team members work together to provide high-quality tree care, ensuring the health and well-being of our clients' landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively on a General Tree Care crew to provide high-quality tree care to clients.
- Engage in all aspects of pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care concepts.
- Safely operate all equipment and perform assigned job tasks while maintaining excellent service to clients.
Requirements
- Experience with proper pruning practices, including large shade trees and ornamentals.
- Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and understand their characteristics.
- Experience climbing without using spurs.
- Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
- Experience with aerial lifts (bucket trucks).
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include:
- A valid U.S. driver's license to operate company vehicles, with a CDL required.
- Authorization to work lawfully in the U.S.
Skills
Desired skills include:
- Proper pruning practices, including large shade trees and ornamentals.
- Identification and understanding of native and introduced tree and shrub species.
- Climbing without spurs.
- Chainsaw and equipment operation.
- Aerial lift (bucket truck) experience.
Benefits
