Tree Climber

About the role

Joshua Tree Experts, the premier tree care professionals in Houston, is searching for an experienced Tree Climber. You will work alongside a 2 to 4 person tree crew assisting in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques. The role is critical for ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining assigned equipment, and communicating effectively with crew, clients, and the public near the job site.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with crew leader and coworkers effectively
• Maintain professional image
• Provide excellent customer service
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment
• Follow company safety culture
• Understand and follow ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations
• Understanding of aerial lift operations

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• At least 4 years experience of tree climbing
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Forestry or Horticulture Degree
• ISA Certified Arborist

Schedule
