Tree Care Climber

What You’ll Do

• Aid with specialized pruning and tree take downs.
• Use equipment like chainsaws, chippers, and hand tools.
• Demonstrate proper tree wounding/pruning techniques.
• Handle trimming up to 20 feet high.
• Maintain tools and equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow best practices.
• Identify trees and diseases.
• Lead small work crews safely and efficiently.
• Deliver exceptional service to clients, work-site partners, and Bemus staff.

Requirements

• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to take direction and communicate effectively.
• Physically fit, capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 20-50 lbs.
• Fluent in reading and writing English.
• A valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
