Responsibilities
- Provides individual, family, and group counseling to adults and families
- Provides clinical assessments, intakes, and develops treatment plans
- Effectively interfaces with courts, social services
- Provides community education, consultation, and emergency services
- Understands the functioning of treatment court, while promoting recovery through coordinated response by utilizing a team approach
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia
- Successful completion of the graduate level coursework required from the licensing board to begin licensure supervision/residency must be documented on the graduate degree transcript and provided upon request
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request

Pay
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE:$48,208 - $83,222
