As our Treatment Coordinator in our Johns Creek location, you will be the trusted bridge between clinical recommendations and patient action, guiding patients through their treatment journey with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Present & Coordinate Treatment Plans
- Walk patients through clinical recommendations, timelines, and financial responsibilities with confidence and empathy.
- Collaborate with doctors and hygienists to ensure plans are clearly communicated and properly documented.
- Proactively follow up on unscheduled treatment to re-engage patients and move care forward.
- Guide Patients Through Financial Decisions
- Explain insurance estimates, out-of-pocket costs, and financing options in a clear, approachable way.
- Set up payment plans, CareCredit, or other financing tools as appropriate.
- Collect payments at time of scheduling and document all financial agreements before treatment begins.
- Carefully coordinate insurance and pre-treatment prep work with the Insurance Coordinator to ensure accurate verification and pre-authorization.
- Confirm pre-determinations are submitted and followed up on in a timely manner.
- Help maintain accuracy of insurance estimates in CareStack to prevent surprises.
- Build Relationships & Support Retention
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for patients throughout their treatment journey.
- Handle questions and concerns with empathy, escalating clinical issues appropriately.
- Contribute to a pipeline that supports daily production goals and team success.

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Treatment Coordinator role.
- Experience with CareStack or similar dental practice management software preferred.
- A solid understanding of cosmetic, restorative, and/or surgical dental procedures.
- A strong knowledge of insurance processes, billing, and patient financing.
- CPR Certification and dental assisting familiarity are a plus.
