We are seeking a qualified Treating Engineer 2 for our utility pole operations in Brierfield, Alabama. This position performs operational work related to daily work instructions, inspection, grading, treatment and materials. Operates the treating plant safely and proficiently. After a training period, the expected work schedule is 6:00 pm - 6:00 am. Principal Responsibilities Operate and control systems by prescribed operating procedures, including, but not limited to the following major systems:Boiler and pressure vessels, vacuum and condensate recovery systems, preservative mix, transfer and storage systems, hazardous and solid waste processing and storage, charge transfer tables and emergency response equipmentPerform all duties of inspector, machine operator (2) and laborer positions as requiredOperate all aspects of treating at or above target production levelsPerforms security dutiesParticipates and contributes to company safety programPerform other related duties as assigned Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
