About the role

The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for delivering strategic treasury capabilities that support the company’s financial objectives through efficient utilization of cash, management of financing activities, and implementation of risk mitigation strategies. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders, banking partners, and financial institutions to identify and implement innovative treasury solutions that support strategic goals, address risks, and capitalize on business opportunities. As a key member of the Treasury team, the Senior Treasury Analyst helps manage and oversee the company’s cash, banking relationships, and financial institution partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor enterprise cash positions to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations, investments, debt obligations, and other business requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze daily cash position reporting and short-term cash forecasts.
  • Execute domestic and international wire transfers and other treasury transactions in accordance with established controls and policies.
  • Support cash forecasting processes by partnering with business units and finance teams to evaluate cash inflows, outflows, and liquidity requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cash utilization and improve working capital efficiency.
  • Oversee daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, account balancing, and transaction monitoring.
  • Review and resolve Positive Pay exceptions and other fraud prevention alerts in a timely manner.
  • Provide treasury mailbox support and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support business units with treasury-related activities, banking services, and payment solutions.
  • Maintain treasury documentation, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.
  • Manage bank account administration activities, including account openings, closures, signatory updates, and documentation requirements.
  • Administer treasury and banking platforms, user access controls, and fraud prevention services.
  • Monitor banking services and fees, identify efficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance treasury operations.
  • Lead and/or support implementation of treasury projects, systems, tools, and process improvements.
  • Participate in treasury technology initiatives, including system upgrades, bank integrations, automation efforts, and digital transformation projects.
  • Evaluate existing treasury processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, controls, and reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement treasury solutions that support evolving business needs.
  • Support treasury risk management activities, including liquidity, operational, counterparty, and banking risks.
  • Monitor fraud prevention controls and recommend enhancements to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with business continuity planning and treasury contingency procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain key treasury and financial reporting for management and leadership teams.
  • Analyze cash flow trends, banking activity, liquidity metrics, and treasury performance indicators.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of treasury, corporate finance, banking, or related financial management experience is required.
  • Experience with cash management, liquidity planning, treasury operations, and banking relationship management is required.
  • Experience implementing treasury systems, banking platforms, or process improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Exposure to debt management, capital markets, or risk management activities is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Preferred certification: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing analytical models to measure performance and/or aid in business decision making.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large, cross functional, complex projects.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of insurance operations and treasury best practices.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of capital markets.
  • Demonstrated experience using a treasury management system.
  • Demonstrated expertise in making high impact decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience with complex financial and / or operational analysis.

Pay

Position Compensation Range $88,000.00 - $145,000.00 Pay Rate Type Salary Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Schedule

Minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 0211.
