About the Role

We are looking for highly motivated, self-starting Treasury Sales Client Officers (TSCOs) to advocate for our clients by providing liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, FX, and commercial card services. You will challenge the status quo, influence peers with diverse points of view, and drive the future of treasury management at Bank of America.

Reporting to the Head of US Treasury Sales Client Officers, the TSCO will manage and aggressively grow treasury revenue and profitability across a portfolio of Fortune 500 global companies in the Large Corporate sectors. You will partner with Corporate Bankers, Liquidity, Investment, Payments, Receivables, Foreign Exchange, Card, Trade, and Service teams to present customized working capital and treasury solutions that meet client objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a client focus, treasury industry expertise, client subsector expertise, and a broad understanding of the bank's structure.
  • Drive revenue and profitability growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting clients with strategic and tactical needs within your region of coverage.
  • Develop data-driven insights and presentations for clients, including recommendations to reduce risk, improve working capital, and digitize payments/receipts.
  • Participate in the Client Management Process, focusing on relationship development from new client acquisition to deepening existing relationships through thoughtful identification of client needs.
  • Build relationships with internal business partners and key client decision-makers, completing account/portfolio business reviews.
  • Ensure service and fulfillment-related requests/queries are directed to the relevant teams, responding to all client and partner requests in a timely manner, and keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Maintain pricing for clients (pricing changes, new services) and ensure all products and services are billed accordingly while managing client escalations and keeping the internal team informed.
  • Deliver the voice of the client back into our product partners and across the enterprise.
  • Develop strong working relationships with all partners; share ideas and best practices within the GPS Sales team.
  • Own ad hoc projects and proactively broaden product knowledge to remain current with evolving solutions, business partner and market trends, and industry updates.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable role (e.g., Treasury Sales Advisor or Treasury Sales Officer).
  • Ability to travel at least 5% of the time; most client interactions will be virtual.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and appropriate financial acumen.
  • Proven business development and relationship management skills with a corporate client set.
  • Broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services, and trends.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven negotiation and active listening skills with strong executive presence.
  • Ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team and build sincere rapport with client contacts.
  • Successful history of direct treasury management sales experience with US domestic and global solutions (including liquidity strategies, foreign exchange, and trade).

Qualifications

  • B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Intrinsically motivated to continuously improve processes and/or one’s own education.
  • Ability to lead small groups while effectively delegating tasks.
  • Desire to mentor and sponsor other Associates.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Multi-lingual skills preferred.
  • Coverage of global corporations in a comparable role is advantageous.

Schedule

  • 1st shift (United States of America).
