Treasury Sales Client Officer II

Reporting to the Head of US Treasury Sales Client Officers (TSCO), the TSCO will manage and aggressively grow treasury revenue and profitability across a portfolio of current and prospective Fortune 500 global companies in the Large Corporate sectors. You will partner with Corporate Bankers, Liquidity, Investment, Payments, Receivables, Foreign Exchange, Card, Trade, and Service teams to deliver customized working capital and treasury solutions. The role emphasizes virtual client engagement and thought leadership in global cash management.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a client focus, treasury industry expertise, client subsector expertise, and a broad understanding of the bank’s structure.
- Drives revenue and profitability growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting clients with strategic and tactical needs within the region of coverage.
- Develops data-driven insights and presentations for clients, including recommendations to reduce risk, improve working capital, and digitize payments/receipts.
- Participates in the Client Management Process, focusing on relationship development—from growing new client relationships to deepening existing ones through thoughtful identification of client needs.
- Builds relationships with internal business partners and key client decision-makers; completes account/portfolio business reviews.
- Ensures service and fulfillment-related requests/queries are directed to relevant teams, responding to all client and partner requests in a timely manner while keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
- Maintains pricing for clients (pricing changes, new services) and ensures all products and services are billed accordingly; manages client escalations and keeps the internal team informed.
- Proactively broadens product knowledge and stays current with evolving solutions, business partner and market trends, and industry updates.
- Delivers client feedback to product partners and across the enterprise; shares ideas and best practices within the GPS Sales team.
- Owns ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable role (e.g., Treasury Sales Advisor or Treasury Sales Officer).
- Ability to travel at least 5% of the time; most client interactions will be virtual.
- Strong interpersonal skills and appropriate financial acumen.
- Proven business development and relationship management skills with a corporate client set.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills; strong executive presence.
- Proven negotiation and active listening skills.
- Ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team and build sincere rapport with client contacts.
- Successful history of direct treasury management sales experience with US domestic and global solutions (e.g., liquidity strategies, foreign exchange, trade).
- Broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services, and trends.
Qualifications
- B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another relevant undergraduate degree (preferred).
- Intrinsically motivated to continuously improve processes and/or personal education.
- Ability to lead small groups while effectively delegating tasks.
- Desire to mentor and sponsor other associates.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification or equivalent (preferred).
- Multi-lingual skills (preferred).
- Coverage of global corporations in a comparable role (advantageous).
