Treasury Resolution Stress Testing - Senior Associate
Job Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and maintenance of models within the Commercial and Investment Banking Recovery & Resolution suite.
- Collaborate with finance teams to devise packaging and unwinding methodologies.
- Create robust and sustainable modeling frameworks, emphasizing clear implementation structures.
- Effectively communicate results to senior stakeholders through regular presentations.
- Challenge existing modeling assumptions to enhance the process and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Model Risk, providing clear and concise explanations of methodologies and key information to senior management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- At least 4 years of experience in model development, review, or testing.
- A strong understanding of modeling best practices, including model success criteria, documentation, and implementation.
- Exceptional prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple models simultaneously.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to independently solve problems.
- The capacity to distill complex information clearly, whether explaining detailed modeling methodologies or summarizing broader strategies to senior management.
- Experience in derivatives pricing, securities, secured funding, market/counterparty risk, or valuation is preferred.
- Proficiency in technical tools such as Python or Alteryx is advantageous.
