This role sits within the Commercial Card Product Development team, focusing on mobile wallet and global travel products. You will define and execute platform strategies, manage digital product initiatives, and drive revenue while enhancing client experience.

The Global Card and Intelligent Payables product team is committed to driving digital payment adoption and creating innovative solutions that help clients capture and manage spend. You will reimagine the future of our platforms, ensuring they meet business goals, compliance standards, and client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the platform strategy, roadmap, and commercialization plans for mobile wallet, virtual card, and travel payment solutions, aligning investments to client needs, market opportunities, and business objectives.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of digital payment capabilities, including mobile wallet provisioning, tokenized payments, virtual card issuance, and travel-related payment experiences.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for virtual card and travel payment solutions, partnering with Global Product, Sales, and Operations to expand client adoption and wallet share.
  • Manage strategic relationships with payment networks, wallet providers, travel technology partners, and third-party vendors to deliver new capabilities and optimize product performance.
  • Partner across card, payables, fraud, risk, operations, and technology teams to design digital payment solutions that improve client experience and drive business growth.
  • Develop business cases, product requirements, and stakeholder impact assessments to support new products, enhancements, regulatory changes, and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Monitor product performance, client feedback, market trends, and competitive offerings to prioritize investments, enhance commercialization strategies, and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Lead multi-discipline project teams, teach non-technical partners, and communicate value internally and externally.
  • Conduct stakeholder impact assessments, create business cases, and document business requirements.
  • Work with partners to create commercialization materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management and/or development.
  • Direct experience in Commercial Card, Financial Services, or payments.
  • Experience managing a critical, large-scale application and third-party relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience remediating a highly complex global program/product.
  • Tech development experience; understands Agile and the complexities of managing tech resources and budget.
  • Ability to balance risk and innovation when proposing and facilitating product enhancements.
  • Comfort making business decisions using guidance from Legal, Risk, and industry partners.
  • Adept at designing communications to educate Product, Sales, Operations, and Credit partners.
  • Strategic thinker with tactical execution skills.
  • Strong multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work on cross-functional, global teams across multiple time zones and foster strong working relationships.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and a team player with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex challenges and project roadblocks.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset, customer focus, and a desire to elevate themselves and others.
