About the role

As the Treasury Manager, Cash Performance & Liquidity, you will play a central role in helping Baxter improve free cash flow generation, working capital performance, liquidity management, cash forecasting, and banking effectiveness across a global organization. Supporting Treasury leadership, you will partner closely with Finance, Tax, FP&A, Procurement, Operations, Global Business Services, and business leaders to identify opportunities that strengthen Baxter's financial flexibility and cash performance. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution. You will help drive initiatives related to liquidity optimization, cash forecasting, banking modernization, treasury technology, and enterprise cash performance. The position offers broad exposure to senior leadership and enterprise-wide decision making while serving as a key resource supporting Treasury's most critical priorities. This is a hybrid role based in Deerfield, IL.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support Treasury's liquidity management strategy through cash concentration, funding structure, notional pooling, and cash mobilization initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance cash forecasting capabilities, including 13-week cash forecasts, long-range liquidity planning, forecast variance analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Create free cash flow, working capital, and liquidity analytics that improve visibility into enterprise cash drivers and performance.
  • Partner with Treasury, FP&A, Operations, Procurement, and business finance teams to identify and execute opportunities that improve cash generation and working capital performance.
  • Develop executive dashboards, management reporting, KPIs, and analytical tools that support Treasury leadership decision making.
  • Support global banking initiatives, including account rationalization, relationship management, banking structure optimization, fee analysis, and RFP activities.
  • Drive process improvement and standardization efforts across Treasury operations, banking activities, forecasting processes, and cash management practices.
  • Support Treasury technology initiatives, including Kyriba optimization, system integrations, automation opportunities, and reporting enhancements.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA, CFA, CTP, CPA, or similar professional credential preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Banking, Consulting, or a related finance function.
  • Experience supporting cash forecasting, liquidity management, working capital improvement, banking strategy, or Treasury analytics initiatives.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Experience working with Treasury Management Systems, ERP platforms, business intelligence tools, or data analytics solutions; Kyriba experience preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives involving Finance, Treasury, IT, banking partners, shared services teams, and other business stakeholders.

Pay

The estimated base salary for this position is $112,000 - $154,000, subject to market data and other factors. Individual pay is based on location, skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
