Treasury Management Sales Associate II

About the role

Generate new cash management business and expand existing business relationships for clients with annual revenues of $10MM and above. Develop a strategic and ongoing sales plan. Identify, analyze, sell, and support treasury management products and services to established and targeted corporate clients. Work closely with Commercial Relationship Managers and Specialty lines of business to achieve specific service charge and deposit goals.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize knowledge of competition and industry best practices regarding appropriate treasury management products and services.
  • Educate relationship managers and other associates for the purpose of developing business.
  • Maintain a high level of company and client confidentiality.
  • Identify, analyze, sell, and support treasury management products and services to established clients and targeted prospective corporate clients.
  • Work closely with Commercial Relationship Managers and Specialty lines of business in achieving specific service charge and deposit goals.
  • Solidify client retention by providing a superior level of client service, assessing client needs, and recommending effective strategies.
  • Negotiate pricing to optimize profitability of products or service solutions and generate revenue from the sale of treasury management products and services.
  • Attract and retain clients by actively participating in sales management and officer call programs, building a great rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treating others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • 15+ years of previous Treasury Management Sales experience.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree or certifications related to field.
  • 20+ years of progressive Treasury Management Sales experience.
  • CTP certification.

Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrates strong leadership with broad knowledge of Treasury Management.
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Displays excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Uses competitive analysis documents to prepare RFPs.
  • Has a clear understanding of policies and procedures and can enforce compliance regulations.
  • Strives for exceptional internal and external client service objectives.

Work Environment

Office setting with traditional hours. Standing for extended periods of time (typically no longer than 8 hours). Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time (typically no longer than 8 hours).
