Summary/Objectives
The Treasury Management Product Specialist supports Treasury Management Sales Officers as a product expert and consultative business partner. They identify, build, and lead strategic discussions with client's IT, A/P, and A/R departments, focusing on key areas of interest. They help structure holistic solutions for clients, including accounts/liquidity structures, Payables and Receivables optimization, systems and connectivity, bank relationship management, working capital, and centralization strategies.
Essential Functions
- Guides Treasury Management Sales Officers to provide thought leadership and actively engage with clients in needs-based discovery consultations and the deployment of complex Treasury Management solutions.
- Directs new Lockbox client implementations and ongoing support.
- Identifies new lockbox client opportunities to generate additional revenue.
- Manages the Lockbox billing and invoicing.
- Trains on Lockbox services both internally and externally.
- Reviews, identifies, and processes necessary Lockbox adjustments for clients.
- Serves as the primary point of contact with Lockbox providers and keeps the team informed about issues, enhancements, and new product developments.
- Develops training as needed and creates client communication if required.
- Guides clients and team members with new Cash Vault implementations process.
- Supports cash vault clients with questions or maintenance requests.
- Produce and distribute quarterly P Card Performance report.
- Facilitate and attend P Card sales calls as appropriate.
- Works with bank-approved courier service provider.
- Onboards clients with courier service setup.
- Creates monthly courier report and branch billing.
- Makes impactful contributions to the team by identifying new opportunities or solutions.
- Partners with Sales and Bankers to identify opportunities across the region to drive revenue opportunities through product and services sales.
- Solicits feedback from bankers and clients to better understand product needs, including enhancements to existing Treasury Management products and new products.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination and communication between lines of business, product, and operational units.
Qualifications, Education, And Certification Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related fields; graduate degree preferred.
- Certification: CCM or CTP certification preferred.
- Experience: 7-10 years banking experience; five years’ experience in product and/or project management; demonstrated leadership experience with cross-functional teams; experience writing business and product requirements.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, procedures, and practices; extensive knowledge of bank operating systems and commercial banking practices; current knowledge of treasury/payment systems compliance requirements; proven ability to understand complex business and technical concepts; strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills; excellent written/oral communications skills; ability to manage multiple detailed work assignments with a high degree of accuracy; excellent understanding of technology.
