About the role
The Treasury Management Officer III position is a full-time role based in Irvine, CA. It is a hybrid position and requires local residency in Orange County/Irvine.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional level of quality service for internal and external customers and respond to customers' needs, questions and concerns in an accurate, effective and timely manner.
- Prepares pro-forma analyses of customer's product sales potential and prepares pricing proposal.
- Reviews and analyzes current and potential commercial relationships and recommends appropriate products and services.
- Participates in design of marketing and sales programs aimed at the commercial customers for treasury management related products.
- Develops various prospecting and sales related materials and reporting to be used throughout the sales cycle.
- Preparation of appropriate Contracts, Agreements and documentation relative to the Treasury Management products and services offered in accordance with Sunflower Bank, N.A Policies and Procedures.
- Collaborates with other departments and team members on the preparation and presentation of Commercial Banking Proposals and Request for Financial Proposals (RFP’s).
- Maintains industry knowledge of treasury management solutions and pricing to keep competitive.
- Leverages reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities.
- Performs the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a financial institution.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Economics or similar.
- Must have a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.
- Ability to self-source opportunities with a successful track record with team selling and lead sharing.
- Current understanding of general Treasury Management products, offerings, Cash Flow cycles, and working capital.
- Ability to assess and manage risk/fraud with strong understanding of value propositions relating to TM solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, time-management and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to formulate partnerships with all levels in an organization.
Qualifications
- Experience in treasury management and product sales.
- Experience in creating and analyzing RFPs.
- Knowledge of treasury management solutions and pricing.
- Understanding of cash flow cycles and working capital.
- Ability to manage risk and fraud.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
$150k - $190k and is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
